I know very little about the the French Protestant Church (but found the article very interesting)so cannot answer very academically.I will when I have read more and when the semester is over.I have read a 3 volumn (v4 in process I believe) on church history by Ed Kastelein from my church (which has a ssmall section on France.)of theThe presbyterian Reformed Churchof Australia but my copy is not at hand so cannot comment just now.

I know this post is rather casual and personal and not very appropriate.I recently discovered and joined The australian christian film and television maker .....?(used to be called a forum and did not include tv) and will also look for a french equivalent but my french is very rusty and of an intermediate level at best.

does anyone know of any reformed protestant french film makers. I live in melbourne Australia and am studying France On FilM through the french dept.of Monash Uni. I have seen Queen Margot but it was not studied in class.Could anyone comment on the film? or on Lucien Lacombe.or French film generally esp New Wave and after.

(I studied french at high school in the late 60s for four yrs and have done only a little since) the classes r in english and the films have subtitles. I found studying the french revolution in senior high school(part of modern european history)fascinating although I view things differently these days.

i have not been to france yet (or OS)

i have a muscle strain prob so will not edit my post
